How to make a rocket stove Finally Revealed
In this video I show how to make a rocket stove. I have seen quite a few online and wanted to give it ago. I was quite surprised how efficient they are. I only used a few offcuts to do the cooking in the video. They are a neat way of cooking out doors.
I make it out of 100mm box steel and 20mm box for the feet. The handle I used was from a section of an old fire place surround and its painted in high temperature paint. In all it cost me about 40 -50 Euro to make.
Weight wise it's not too heavy over short distances.

      @@bogstandardash3751 No problem, i dont believe you can purchase them but it easier to cast them in-situ. levelling & squaring them is much easier than trying to lift them into place.

    looks great buddy but you should of gone with concrete lintels on pad stones instead of the rsj as they will eventually rot even with the coating on.

      I was thinking that.Unless you use hardwood but wood that low will rot not matter what coating you put on.

    You definitely need to be very carful with grinder carving ! You can do serious harm to yourself if that grinder grabs the back of the inside of your bowl and rips it out of your hands. Grinders do not turn off very easily!

      If you read Jean Auel's book 'The Valley of Horses' there is a part where Ayla decides she needs to make bowls. She makes them with her hand axe and smooths them with river sand. I imagine they look like this.
